Social Work Assistant

Previous experience assisting Qualified Social Workers in their duties is essential. Knowledge of the NHS and Community Care Act 1990 is essential. Knowledge of the Fair Access To Care (FACS) is also essential. Knowledge of methods to plan and review services for clients is also essential.

A London service requires a Social Services Officer to make assessments and review care plans for adults with physical disabilities in social care packages. Duties will also include assisting clients with practical tasks and liaising with relevant agencies to ensure an appropriate level of care is achieved. This post would offer a good opportunity to gain statutory experience.
