Qualified Social Worker- Referral and Assessment

Degree in Social Work, DipSW or other GSCC-recognised qualification is essential. Previous experience carrying out frontline children and family social work in a statutory setting is also essential. Duties will include taking referrals, making initial and core assessments in line with section 47 of the Children’s Act, child protection work and report writing. The post is with a social services department in Tyneside and offers competitive rates of pay and the potential for flexible hours.
