Project Manager

Our client provides custom-engineered process packages for separation & treatment of oil, gas, produced water, and solids. The division serves both production and refining markets.

Project Manager


To manage projects with the objective of meeting the defined scope, specification and schedule of the project whilst maintaining the margin of the budget.


Principal Duties:

• To assist in bid preparation by working closely with Process and Proposals teams.
• To build relationships with the client, maintaining liaison throughout each project.
• To co-ordinate both the internal and external services supplying the project.
• To manage the resources on the project, ensuring the company systems and procedures are followed.
• To control the progress of each project and to report status.
• To control the budget for each project, maintaining the agreed level of expenditure.
• To contribute towards the development of the Oil &Gas department.
• To provide accurate forecasts with respect to manning levels
• To formulate project strategies in consultation with Snr Project Manager and Proposals and Sales Engineers to provide the capability that meets customer needs
• To determine project execution methods to ensure that margins are controlled, monitored and maximized.
• To manage and co-ordinate large scale projects comprising multiple packages and equipment.

Qualifications

Required – Chartered Status or willing to work towards
Preferred – Engineering Degree or equivalent, Engineering preferred.

Skills

Good interpersonal and negotiating skills, leadership skills

Experience

Required – Engineering background preferably within the Oil and Gas Industry
Preferred – 5yrs contract/project management experience. Knowledge of industry conditions of contract

Other Factors:

Fit and willing to travel worldwide as required by project demands.
