Qualified Social Worker- Children and Families (Duty and Assessment)

Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or other GSCC recognised social work qualification is essential. Previous experience carrying out children and family social work in a statutory setting is also essential. This post is within a duty and assessment team providing a professional social work service in line with the Childrens Act 1989. Duties involve making initial and core assessments as part of section 47 investigations, creating and implementing care plans, and court work including care proceedings. The post is with a children and families social services team in East London and offers competitive rates of pay and the potential for flexible hours.
