Senior Account Manager / Account Director CK1146

Based in open plan offices in a picturesque Kent village my client is a successful medical marketing communications agency with a strong focus on medical education. They boast an impressive client base that includes some of the biggest international pharmaceutical companies and as a true expert in their field they continue to go from strength to strength.

They are now looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager or Account Director to join their busy office and help them continue to build on their success. Supported by a team of Account Executives and Account Managers, you will be responsible for securing new business, running accounts and developing existing clients.

Key responsibilities of the role:
• Forecasting and key account planning
• Secure new/repeat business (£750K +)
• Strategic planning and proposal origination for clients
• Client and supplier briefings
• Internal account team management, training & development
• Overall quality control & ultimate accountability for each project

To be considered for this role you will have:
• Strong science background with a minimum BSc(Hons) and ideally a PhD
• Sound knowledge of marketing and educational projects
• Good industry contacts on both the client and KOL side
• Exceptional industry knowledge and be commercially astute
• The ability to use your initiative but also work well as part of a team
• Excellent communication and presentation skills - able to influence at all levels

In return for your hard work you will be rewarded with a competitive salary up to £65,000, commission on new business – 5% of net profit, private healthcare, pension scheme and 5 weeks holiday
