Project Manager / Co-ordinator

Working for an established house builder in Southern England, you will be overseeing both the technical and commercial aspects of the projects from the land buying stage through to the actual build processes. Excellent salary and package.

To provide project co-ordination , managing all aspects of design and development from planning through to completion.

To co-ordinate the input of various technical consultants to work within the programme for Technical Design on a variety of residential ans associated projects.

To work closely with representatives of other internal departments to ensure their input is provided during the design process at the correct time and in the correct detail.

To provide continuing support to the project team during the whole life of the project and to co-ordinate the ongoing input of the technical consultants.

To provide specialist advice to other Technical Co-ordinators involved in projects where the subject has developed relevant skills.

To understand and manage financial aspects of development costs, cash flows, and the effects of the programme on overall profitability in the context of the adopted appraial system.

Aims and Objectives

To motivate the project team through the very important early stages of a project.

To produce a seamless transition from design through tender to site start, ensuring a smooth flow of clear and accurate information to the project and consultant team.

Candidate requirements

A background of residential project co-ordination / management is required, ideally with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

Architectural / Civil engineering qualified to HNC/HND level

Ideally hold a relevant CSCS card and be Planning Supervisor / CDM Co-ordinator trained.

Be computer literate with an ability to use word, excel and Autocad.
