Qualified Social Worker

An opportunity has arisen for two qualified Social Workers to join an established team. Our clients Youth Offending Service aims to attack the root causes of anti social behavior and offending by working innovatively and in partnership with the community. If you are excited by the idea of becoming part of a team which is committed to developing new ways of working, together with a commitment to working in partnership with young people and their carers, with a specific focus on parenting, we would like to hear from you. This is a perfect opportunity to enhance existing social work skills to include Youth Justice Work. YOS has an extensive training package, which is part of an accredited Youth Justice qualification. Applications considered from candidates that have a commitment to post qualifying development.

This post is subject to current CRB or Enhanced Disclosure application to the Criminal Records Bureau for overseas candidates equivalent police checks, registration as a qualified social worker with the general Social Care Council, Diploma/Degree in Social Work (Including DipSw or CQSW), Right to work in the UK. Only candidates with relevant and experience and knowledge of legislation, frameworks and Governmental proposed measures should apply.
