Experience case managing substance misuse clients is essential. Experience conducting community care assessments is essential. A professional qualification (social work or nursing) is a benefit. Experience facilitating groups would be a benefit.

A West Midlands service is looking for an experienced substance misuse practitioner to work within its community care assessment team. The role will involve performing community care assessments under the NHS and Community Care Act. The role will also involve liaising with local and national services, reviewing care packages and assisting with the aftercare program including post treatment groups. There is the opportunity to gain experience in a group work setting.
