Shift Maintenance Technician

My client is looking to recruit a Shift Maintenance Technician to join their team.

The Role.

Organise, plan and ensure the preventitive and curative maintenance at the 1st and 2nd Levels, the maintenance and the programming upgrading of the production equipment.
Prepare and impement a schedule of interventions as a precautionary measure.
Order replacement parts
Ensure the effective operating of the machines during the production and intervene when necessary.
Ensure a computerised log of interventions is kept upto date
Ensure the reception and the qualification of the production equipment in compliance with the conditions and Health & Safety rules.
Intervenes on the site as a precautionary measure of accidents and raise awareness of users about the respect of the safety procedures.
Takes appropriate decisions when necessary for optimisation of interventions in order to avoid breakdown recurrences with initial information decided by supervisor.
Ensure the cleanliness of work area and preforms cleaning of own area, preforms the cleaning and maintenance fo own equipment and maintenance room.
Ensures that preventative maintenance constraints have been taken into account on new equipment
Propose solutions which allow from the beginning the consideration of the maintenance constraints in the conception and implementation of new products and production processes
Carry out analysis and diagnostic of machinery within the framework of their expertise in terms of ergonomics
Manage the maintenance in own field of expertise
Propose and implement the appropriate corrective actions
Carry out the analysis of the micro breakdowns
Propose and implement appropriate solutions
Propose improvement plans (progress plans)
Manage the store and replacement of parts
Prepare inventory, counts, detecting abnormalities and remedies

Required

Knowledge in mechanics or pneumatics or electricity or hydraulics
Computer skills, maintenance management software
Knowledge in production equipment (assembling machines and peripheral)
Knowledge in maintenance tools and methodology of industrial equipment.

Sense of analysis, methodical, rigorus, sense of priorities and organisation. Team spirit, sense of communication, availability / flexibility face to unexpected situations. Capacity to master maintenance on buildings and production means.
