Alcohol Practitioner

Experience carrying a case load of alcohol misuse clients is essential. Experience delivering intervention groups is essential.

A London substance misuse service is looking for an alcohol practitioner to take on a case load of clients who have alcohol addictions. The role will involve offering tier 3 interventions, performing initial assessments with a view to developing person centered care plans to involve motivational interviewing or CBT techniques to help clients overcome their addictions. The role will also involve facilitating groups on topics such as relapse prevention techniques.
