Principal Civil Engineer
Our Client is a growing multi-disciplinary practice of Chartered civil, Structural and Environmental Engineers who have regional offices located throughout the UK, employing highly experienced, motivated engineers and technicians, providing expert technical advice across a broad spectrum of engineering disciplines.
They provide extensive experience throughout each stage of the development process, offering advice to landowners, commercial developers, property funds, contractors, house builders, educational establishments, hotel/leisure operators and health authorities, delivering a commercially focused service.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Expected to have a degree in Civil Engineering with approx 5 years experience and able to work with minimum supervision using their own initiative, this position offers excellent career prospects.
Must have extensive experience and knowledge of road and sewer infrastructure design, S38, S27B & S104 Agreements, project management, team leadership and have the necessary skills to negotiate with local authorities.
It is important to have practical knowledge of Autocad, PDS and WinDES and desirable that the successful candidate is either Chartered or working toward becoming Chartered.
Knowledge of Traffic and Transportation and/or Flood Risk Assessments would also be an advantage as would the ability to develop business contacts and bring in new work.
It is vital to be a good communicator with a full command of the English language and to have the ability to run projects from concept to completion.
