Substance Misuse Outreach Worker

Previous experience carrying a caseload of drug and alcohol clients is essential. Previous experience in outreach work is essential. Car driver would be a benefit.

A West Midlands Service requires a drugs worker to conduct outreach work, engaging substance misuse clients (primarily opiate users) within the local community as well as working in the needle exchange. The successful candidate will have the ability to work with hard to reach clients with the aim of bringing them in to a structured detox program as well as offering advice on harm reduction and safer injecting.
