Substance misuse project worker

Experience case managing substance misuse clients is essential. Experience performing assessments and care plans on drug and alcohol clients is essential.



A local service is looking for experienced substance misuse practitioners to help induct and assess new clients into the service. The role will involve carrying out assessments on primarily opiate misuse clients followed by the designing of care plans to include the prescribing of methadone or subutec to be carried out by an in house prescribing team. The role will also involve working within a drop in providing harm minimisation advice.
