Our client owns one of the largest retail real estate portfolios in Europe and has grown to become a leading international company with a solid real estate portfolio valued at around seven billion euros. Our client is active in 20 European countries and develops and manages a portfolio consisting of retail properties in top locations throughout Europe’s major cities. Their portfolio, which also includes office buildings and logistics centres, currently comprises over 800 properties.

Funciones: Requisitos:
- Effective decision support regarding investments (asset and share deals), projects and divestment proposals; i.e. timely, actively, consistently, frequently, fact-based and challenging
- Effective teamwork with headquarters (Amsterdam) as well as third parties regarding tax, legal and financial advice (deal-structuring)
- Complete and accurate financial- and management reporting in compliance with internal and external requirements as well as according to pre-defined timetable, formats and specifications
- Effectively deployed business control framework within the company (authorizations, risk management, due diligence processes, budget systems, procedures and policies, etc.)
- Effective control over billing/collection cycles (rents and charges) and purchase/payment cycles (procurement and projects) and valuation process
- Monitoring and management of local financial position, effective cash management and financing (in liaison with headquarters)
- Compliance with Accounting and General Administrative policies and procedures, as well as local legal requirements (business practices, statutory filings, etc.)
- Effective human resource management (staffing, competency management, teamwork) and teamwork with commercial functions
- Effective communication with local management and headquarters (timely, relevant) - Extensive financial and accounting experience in an international environment
- Experience in deal driven environment, preferably real estate
- Experience with (international) fiscal/legal affairs
- Understanding of commercial real estate business
- Proven track record of achieving results
- Team-player
- Fluent in English (both writing and verbal)
- Academic background
- Preferably Chartered Accountant or comparable education
