The Person
You will need to be an experienced Recruitment Manager who understands what it takes to deliver a consistently high service. Ideally you will be seeking a long- term, autonomous management role. You will possess the ability to liaise with decision makers in largely Public Sector / Social Care settings and understand how to pitch our clients USP’s to this particular sector. Ideally you will be seeking an environment where you are free to demonstrate your flair and commercial savy, and be seeking a long term role away from the more structured, multi-branch approach to commercial recruitment.
Job description
The Recruitment Manager is responsible for providing dual services, acting as an interface to match job seekers (potential employees) to business clients (employers) through identifying and assessing candidate skills and compliance protocol and employer requirements. Acting as the interface for the business as a whole and working closely with the management team in order to drive revenue.
Liaising with businesses and building solid pipeline business is a core task and responsibility; building and developing relationships with new companies and existing clients is also essential to this role.
You will also need to be able to demonstrate a working knowledge in the following key areas;
•Using marketing and business knowledge to extend company contacts;
•knowledge of Minimum Standards TOPPS legalisation would be desirable
•Knowledge of Health & Social Care NVQ's
•Staff Management
•Experience of setting KPI's
•Performance Management
•P&L responsibility
•Evaluating employers' business needs;
•Negotiating terms of employment;
•Interviewing potential candidates.
•Reporting to Senior Management on activites and own accountabilities
•In particular, work activities will include:
•Interacting with potential new clients by telephone to establish new contacts and their precise recruitment requirements;
•Documenting a client's details and vacancy requirements in a remit;
•Clarifying and negotiating terms and conditions (code of practice) relating to the job role;
• Advertising posts appropriately - drafting and strategically advertising accordingly.
•Reviewing applications, managing interviews, and considering candidates and short-lists;
•Monitoring candidates when placed, providing a supervisory role;
•Collecting feedback from employers on the performance and suitability of candidates who have previously been placed with them;
•Maintaining current records
•Attending recruitment fairs, client visits and other exhibitions or business events to expand the client base and develop new business as and when necessary.
