Key Stage 1 Teacher

Based to the North of the Coventry ring road this primary school is looking for a year 1/2 class teacher for September. The class is a mixed class combining both year 1 and year 2 pupils, and totals 24 in number. The successful applicant will be required to work in conjunction with the other year 1/2 class teacher during their provided PPA time, coming up with agreed lesson plans and strategies. As a class teacher you will be responsible for your own classroom, including organization, presentation and displays. The school has a warm and friendly atmosphere that engenders a feeling of comfort and safety and encourages the children to attain their potential. This same warm and friendly atmosphere is concurrent throughout the school, with members of staff supporting and helping each other and taking an interest in the life of the school as a whole and ensuring that new members of staff feel welcome and comfortable in the school. In class, support will be provided by an experienced teaching assistant, with knowledge and experience of working with SATS groups.
