Early Years Teacher

Found to the west of the city centre this school are looking for a reception teacher to cover for a maternity leave. The role is due to start in September and will commence from the first day of term, and will extend through until Easter of ‘09. The role will require planning and preparation to be done by the successful candidate, though this will be done in conjunction with the other members of the Early Years team during provided PPA time. The school itself is warm and welcoming with a friendly atmosphere which provides a safe and secure environment within which pupils can reach their potential. Senior management are keen to ensure that any long term cover teachers feel part of school life, and will provide support for any teacher appointed to this role. You will, as a class teacher, be responsible for displays and the aesthetics of your classroom, which will comprise 20 pupils, and will be encouraged to get involved in other activities. Support within the class will also be provided in the form of a TA, as will any resources you might require.
