Qualified Social Worker- Referral and Assessment (C&F)

Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or equivalent GSCC-recognised social work qualification is essential. Experience carrying out children and family social work in a fast-paced statutory setting, along with knowledge of sections 17 and 47 of the Children’s Act, is also essential. Duties will include making initial and core child protection assessments, carrying a caseload of 10-20 children and joint work with other agencies including schools, police liaison and healthcare authorities. This post is with a children and families social work team in South London and offers competitive rates of pay and the potential for career progression.
