Prescribing Drugs Worker

Experience managing a case load of substance misuse clients essential. Previous experience prescribing opiate substitutes would be a benefit. A nursing qualification (RGN/RMN) would be a benefit.

A South Coast substance misuse service requires an experienced drugs worker to manage a case load of primarily opiate clients. The role will involve making assessments and designing care plans to include advocating prescriptions, titrating and key working clients. There is the possibility that this post will be offered on a permanent basis to the right candidate.
