Substance misuse social worker

A diploma in social work, degree in social work, Masters in social work or other GSCC recognised qualification is essential. Experience working with substance misuse clients is essential. A local council is looking for a substance misuse social worker to help reduce the impact of drug and alcohol misuse on the local community. The role will involve performing community care assessments on clients who have been referred to the service and preparing a care plan to move clients into rehabilitation programs across the county. A newly qualified social worker with placement experience would be considered for this role.
