Nursery Manager

My client in Manchester is seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Manager. NVQ Level 3 equivalent or above with at least 2 years experience within an Early Years setting preferably at a Senior level. Good business acumen and a clear understanding of Ofsted standards.
Enthusiastic, motivated childcare professional required to implement effective recruitment and selection procedures, and to lead the team in delivering high standards in care and education.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery and managing the team successfully.
Good understanding of Childcare Act 2006 and other legislation.

This day nursery has the philosophy that children learn, explore and develop as individuals through physical, intellectual, emotional and social play. To achieve this we work using the Birth to Three framework and Foundation Stage Curriculum framework. The nursery director had a vision of having a nursery that was welcoming, secure and stimulating environment, in which children can grow happily at their own pace. The director wanted a nursery that would welcome parents and carers, and to work in partnership with them.
