Qualified Social Worker- Child Safeguarding

Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or other GSCC recognised social work qualification is essential. Previous experience carrying out child and family social work, particularly safeguarding work, within a statutory service is also essential. Duties are in line with the provision of a professional social work service and include making initial and core assessments under section 47, managing risk and working in child in care and care proceedings. The post is with a Northeast London social services department which offers ongoing work and flexible hours.
