Qualified Social Worker- Children and Families (Duty and Referral)

Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or other GSCC recognised social work qualification is essential. Previous experience carrying out children and family social work in a statutory setting is also essential. Experience of court work is desirable, although there is the opportunity to gain this experience. Duties include making initial and core assessments as part of section 47 investigations, along with other duties in line with the provision of a professional social work service. This long term post is with the children and families social services department of an East London borough and offers competitive remuneration and the potential for flexible hours.
