SENIOR ADVISOR (South Africa - JOhannesburg)

To promote and implement productivity-related solutions and provide a consulting service for existing and new clients, that results in the generation of income for the company and improved productivity in client organisations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Min: Diploma/Degree in Industrial Engineering, or equivalent qualification

• At least 5 years experience in:
o the application of Industrial engineering technique and practices,
o business consulting with some experience in applying productivity improvement interventions

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
• Computer literate in MS Office, statistical packages and process optimisation software
• Ability to work in a team with other disciplines
• Ability to identify business improvement opportunities in potential clients
• Ability to provide potential financial benefits prior to implementation
• Ability to provide a productivity consulting service to clients
• Ability to understand and interpret financial data
• Ability to draw up proposals
• Ability to use productivity measurement and improvement tools
• Ability to conduct training
• Project Management skills
• Presentation skills
• Monitoring and evaluation
• Broad knowledge of business processes and systems
• Knowledge of South African productivity trends
