Qualified Social Worker- Children and Families

Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or other GSCC recognised social work qualification is essential. Previous experience carrying out child and family social work in a statutory UK setting, including referral and assessment or hospital work is also essential. There is an opportunity to gain experience with the social work team of a Central London borough. Duties are making children and families assessments, including pre-birth initial and core assessments, and section 47 investigations working with other departments. The post is with a progressive children and families social services department which encourages career progression and offers competitive remuneration.
