Qualified Social Worker- Referral and Assessment

Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or other GSCC recognised social work qualification is essential. Previous experience carrying out child and family social work, particularly referral and assessment work, within a statutory service is also essential. There are also posts available at senior social worker level, representing an opportunity for progression for experienced main grade social workers. Duties are in line with the provision of a professional social work service and include making initial and core assessments, managing risk, working with other services and responsibility for an individual client caseload. The post is with a Northwest London social services department which offers ongoing work and competitive rates of pay.
