Business Development Manager
Our client, a world leader in the design and supply of industrial and embedded computer products for communications, automation, process control and telemetry applications, is seeking a Business Development Manager to actively grow their business and manage existing accounts.

Role
• increase product sales, taking responsibility for all aspects of the sales process, including
lead generation, qualification, identification of client requirements, quotation
management, closure and subsequent account development
• be prepared to travel regularly into the client territory
• provide monthly sales reports to include a progress update, 3 month forecast and market
intelligence
• contribute to the growth and development of the Sales Team by actively seeking to share
knowledge and to support other members of the team.
Business Development Manager
• Customer facing sales experience
• The ability to demonstrate a successful history of sales growth within B2B sales, based
upon sales of technical products and solutions within the embedded computer industry
• A good understanding of the technology based computing market
• Experience of selling value added solutions to OEMs
• The ability to produce and deliver professional Sales proposals and Sales presentations
of products and solutions to technical, commercial and directorate staff within client
organisations
• Consideration will also be given to candidates with an electronics or computer
engineering background who are able to demonstrate they have the communication skills
and commercial awareness necessary to succeed in the role
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a natural ability to work with a variety
of personalities.

Location: Home based South/South West Region, ideally based in the Reading/Newbury area
Salary £45,000 + annual performance related bonus
