Metallurgical Engineer
Our client, an independent professional consulting company which has been providing Consultancy, Engineering and Project Management Service for 70 years are seeking a Metallurgical Engineer.
Candidates should have extensive technical knowledge of the historic and current technologies in the steel sector. They will provide the focus of expert advice to the Division in areas of:-
(a) hot rolling, cold rolling and finishing of steel
or
(b) maintenance and plant engineering.
The Metallurgical Engineer should be able to clearly express and explain complex technical issues, both verbally and in writing. They should be able to lead a small expert team and to work independently as appropriate. They will prepare technical studies, reports for clients and capital expenditure justification. Candidates with knowledge of non-ferrous and other metals and minerals processing would be advantageous.
It would be advantageous if candidates have fluent Russian language abilities to be able to translate and interpret and provide support for the Division’s business with FSU clients.
Technical Qualifications
Candidates should have a degree in Metallurgy.
