Youth Offending Team Officer
The candidate must have previous experience working within a Youth Offending Team, or working in conjunction with young offenders in order to prevent offending behaviour. Any further experience working within the youth community or within probation would be beneficial. The successful applicant must have good knowledge of child protection legislation and practice.
The successful candidate will be working in a preventative capacity, managing a caseload of young adults. Further to this the applicant will be delivering intensive, one-to-one and group work interventions, to children at risk of being involved in offending or anti-social behaviour. The candidate will also conduct assessments in order to identify risk and protective factors as well as design and develop care plans.
