Project description The objective of the ECBP is to improve the international competitiveness of 200 Egyptian IT/ITES companies (existing exporters, or companies with export potential), in order to have the capacity to successfully manage the market-led development, production, and business management process of products/services that will suit their target segments in potential export markets. Ultimately, this should result in improving export capability, penetration of new markets and increased market share in existing export markets.
Job Description The International/National Specialized Consultants’ key role is to implement the business
upgrade plans in his/her areas of specialization.
Moreover, their main duties include:
• Participate in the development of the business upgrading plan of each company
assigned to him/her;
• Prepare the detailed implementation plan/processes of the areas of specialization;
• Develop and execute the day-to-day work plans for each company;
• Work closely with the assigned company's' engagement team;
• Report to the lead consultant the progress of the BUP implementation per each
company;
• Follow up and monitor the implementation of the activities assigned for each company in
his/her area of specialization.
THE BROAD PROFILE OF THE INTERNATIONAL/NATIONAL SPECIALIZED CONSULTANTS
SHOULD INCLUDE:
• Consultant with at least (8) years experience in the IT/ITES sector, preferably Bluechips and fortune 500 companies
• Profoundly with experience in working with the IT/ITES SMEs in Egypt or similar developing and transitional economies and providing them with business development/upgrading;
• Extensive knowledge of IT business and export development needs and activities in Egypt or similar developing and transitional economies;
• Fluency in English Language, both written and spoken (proficiency of Arabic language is plus);
• Strong leadership and management skills, communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to communicate and work with top and middle management of SMEs to
implement the recommended programs
