Drug Awareness Teacher

Experience delivering PHSE lessons around drug issues is essential. Knowledge of recent government strategies around substance misuse and young persons, such as Every Child Matters and the National Delivery Plan, is essential.


A local service is looking for an enthusiastic person to deliver drug and alcohol, substance misuse advice to young persons across Key Stages 1-4 in a number of schools. The role will involve following government guidelines regarding best teaching practice as well as implementing government strategies with regards to substance misuse education. Recent teaching experience coupled with demonstrable knowledge of drugs and alcohol would be an ideal combination for this role.
