Asbestos Engineer / Manager

One of our larger international clients involved in services, maintenance and building providing services across the whole spectrum of many types of buildings and infrastructure such as hospitals, schools, offices, industrial plant, bridges, waterworks or roads. They offer services at each stage of the asset lifecycle, is seeking an Asbestos Specialist for their operations in Cyprus.

As Manager of a new entity dealing with Asbestos Removal and other associated services duties would include:

To manage and supervise asbestos removal specialized personnel for the execution of full removal of asbestos from buildings with reinstatement works where required. Prepare and adopt CDM Health & Safety Plans including Method Statements and Risk Assessments, all related with the asbestos removal operation and prepare cost estimates relevant to the asbestos removal operations.

Requirements:

Must have the necessary qualifications and certificates by the relevant UK Authorities on asbestos removal and other related operations.
Must have extensive experience on asbestos removal and other related issues.
Must be able to carry out Type I, II and III sampling and asbestos assessment surveys including preparation of reports.
Must be able to manage and supervise asbestos removal specialized personnel for the execution of full removal of asbestos from buildings with reinstatement works where required.
Must have the necessary qualifications and certificates by the relevant UK Authorities on Health & Safety issues.
Must be able to prepare and adopt CDM Health & Safety Plans including Method Statements and Risk Assessments, all related with the asbestos removal operations.
Must be able to prepare cost estimates relevant to the asbestos removal operations.
