ROV Operations Coodinator



Client : Our Client is a seabed-to-surface engineering and construction contractor for the offshore oil and gas industry. Reporting to: Vessel Operations Manager / Asset Manager

Experience: Minimum 5 years operational ROV experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

Skills: Proficient in English, with good oral and written communication skills.

Good people handling skills, including the ability to work with of various nationalities and cultures

Responsibilities:

Monitoring, coordinating and reporting the day to day ROV operations.

Ensuring ROV systems are maintained in accordance with manufacturer and Maximo planned maintenance routines.

Planning and managing all refit or upgrade activities associated with designated ROV Systems in conjunction with supply chain management identification, procurement and delivery of all spares and consumables.

Technical and operational advice to projects as required – limited to occasional and specific issues.

Provision and maintenance of accurate and up to date technical specifications

Monitoring of systems performance and identification of opportunities for efficiency improvement.

Provision of technical information / interface requirements to customer, projects and other departments as needed to facilitate the installation of additional equipment.

Coordinating resolution of problems in event of systems breakdown and identifying the root cause(s) of such problems

Providing input to the annual CAPEX

Compilation, amendment and distribution of systems and equipment procedures and other related documentation for business operations use.

Ensuring timely and controlled onward distribution of technical and safety related bulletins

Ensuring that systems are configured, fully certified and tested in readiness for forthcoming projects and scopes of work

Ensuring systems comply with International Marine Contractor’s Association (IMCA) guidelines.
