Our client has a vacancy for an Applications Engineer (AE) with skills in some of the following areas: Applications, Engineer, Software; Embedded; C; C++; wireline, wireless, communications, WCDMA CNE, layer 1, L1, DSP, Digital signal Processing, FPGA, ASIC, jobs, South West

Candidates will have:
Experience of design or integration of layer 1 communications systems,

C/C++ Embedded software development

Experience in developing protocol stacks and device drivers.

Some experience in a customer-facing role.

Desirable skills include : GSM, WCDMA or similar system development, DSP/ASIC/FPGA design, h/w and s/w reference designs, etc
