Senior social worker drug and alcohol

Experience case managing substance misuse clients using the NHS and community care act is essential. A Diploma in Social work or equivalent is essential. Experience with prescribed medication for class a drugs would be a benefit



A local service is looking for a senior social worker to work in its service providing prescribed substitutes (methadone and subutex) as well as brief interventions for class a substance misuse clients. Using the NHS and Community Care Act the successful candidate will be expected to assess clients and design and review care plans alongside the GPS and team. The role will also involve taking leadership of a team of workers offering supervision and reviewing their care plans.
