Substance misuse practitioner

Experience case managing substance misuse clients with substitute medication requirements is essential. Experience drug testing clients would be a benefit but there is the opportunity to gain this experience.

A local service is looking for a substance misuse service to manage a case load of class A clients who are on scripts for methadone and subutex. The role will involve initial titration based on care plans designed by the worker and follow up assessments to maintain and eventually reduce the dosage. The role will involve drugs testing but training will be given on this for a candidate who demonstrates the other required experience.
