Software Apps Engineer - WinCE/ Linux SW

Software Apps engineer for large semiconductor company sought. Applicants will have strong development experience of software device drivers for WinCE, WinMob and Linux, customer interaction and facing experience a plus for this Software Applications Engineer position.

Software Applications Engineer sought to support Display Driver, Power Management and Automotive Products. The role will include driver development, customer support, development and maintenance of software tools (PC based GUI#s), etc.

The successful applicant will have experience of software applications development, strong proven technical background gained in driver development for WinCE, WinMob and Linux.

As this is an applications role candidates with previous duties interfacing with customers would be an advantage, but not essential.

Specific Skills include:
- Definition & develop embedded software device drivers
- WinCE, WinMob, Linux drivers' development and integration.
- Customer interface ability, including cultural awareness.
- Hardware knowledge is desirable.
