Substance misuse worker

Experience case managing young people with substance misuse issues is essential. A diploma level or equivalent qualification in social work or mental health nursing would be a benefit.

A local service is looking for a young persons substance misuse worker to work in its multi disciplinary team and alongside CAMHS and Children and Families Teams. The role will involves giving interventions through assessments followed up with care planning to include detox work as well as referring to other agencies for appropriate treatment. The role will also involves liaising with other local services, reviewing care plans and care plan budgets to maintain appropriate levels of care.
