Substance misuse mental health practitioner

Experience case managing clients with dual diagnosis needs or dealing with substance misuse and mental health clients is essential. Knowledge of severe and enduring mental health conditions is essential. A nursing qualification would be a benefit for this role but is not essential.

A local service is looking for a substance misuse worker for its mental health team. The role will involve working with mental health clients in the community with specific substance misuse needs. The position will be working alongside various mental health practitioners advising them on substance misuse issues in mental health as well as designing care plans through thorough assessments. This role will also give the successful applicant the opportunity to increase the independent living standards of clients through help with practical tasks. This role has the potential to be extended and offers competitive rates.
