Software / System Integration Hampshire

First rate company requires Integration and software development engineers, skills: Software, design, integration, ClearCase, versioning tools, CVS, mobile handsets, communications, GSM, GPRS, UMTS, Hampshire.

Senior Software Engineer / Integration Engineer required by our large multinational client.

Main duties are to:
1. Assist in System Integration Planning,
2. Design, create and maintain development, sub-system and module branches in Clearcase
3. Administrate integration schedule
4. Create and test software load module deliveries
5. Support task force teams in troubleshooting

Candidates are likely to be degree qualified or similar with most of the following:

Knowledge of ClearCase Configuration Management Tools.

Experience of highly integrated mobile communication systems, preferably GSM / GPRS or UMTS.

A thorough understanding of modern communications especially mobile communications.

Experience of real time software design/integration for an embedded environment.

Considerable experience of structured software development/integration including code development using 'C', preferably in a Windows environment, with cross-compilation to an embedded target.

Ability and flexibility to work to tight deadlines to help maintain delivery dates.
