Legal Filing Clerk
My Client is a leading law firm based in the city of London, they are looking to fill a filing clerk position, and this would suit someone that has excellent communication skills, flexibility and a willingness’ to help.
Overall purpose for the role
In charge of maintenance of orange files for whole group in according with Working Practices for the Group (Shipping Working Practices/ETC Working Practices)

Job description
• In charge of maintenance of orange files for whole group in accordance with Working Practices for the Group (Shipping Working Practices/ETC Working Practices)
• Both orange and white working files to be labelled uniformly (to be decided by Partners) – to check through systematically and check that all files are all labelled in the manner decided.
• Assist secretaries with upkeep and organise filing cupboards.
• Create central list of files indicating file location within group, to be kept regularly updated and circulated to group.
• To check with Group Secretary regarding work for the day.
• File closure.
• Assist on an ad hoc basis with maintenance of working files for cases.
• As the role develops:
• Continue to file on both orange and working files as directed
• Assist with maintenance of working files
• Have access to in boxes and assist in printing out e-mails, dragging into folders and electronically filing.
