Children and families substance misuse worker

Experience offering therapeutic treatments for young people affected by substance misuse issues, either self use or affected by family use is essential. A recognised therapeutic qualification (Counselling, Psychotherapy, Social Work or nursing) would be a benefit.



A local service is looking for a young persons substance misuse worker to help address the needs of children who have drug or alcohol abuse issues from either their own use or from that of their families The role will involve assessing clients and their families and develop care plans to work with both the individual client and their family group. The role will also involve working with other local teams such as social services.
