Criminal Justice Prescribing Drugs Worker

Experience working with substance misuse clients in a Criminal Justice setting is essential. Substitute prescribing experience for class A users is also essential. Any experience of prescribing subutex or methadone would be beneficial.

The successful applicant will be carrying a case load of clients, all of whom are class A adult drug users. The candidate will be required to conduct assessments, design and develop care plans as well as key working and working within an inpatient detox unit. The applicant will also be carrying out methadone and subutex prescriptions within a shared care service. There is an opportunity for flexible hours.
