Prescribing substance misuse worker

Experience advocating prescriptions for substitutes to class a drugs is essential. An RGN or RMN nursing qualification would be of benefit.

A local service is looking for a prescribing drugs worker to take on a case load of substance misuse clients with need for prescribed substitutes for its new office. The role will involve initial and follow up assessments, the designing of care plans to include advocating prescriptions. Follow up key working and titration will be required to stabilise clients.
