LANSA Developer - relocate to Bermuda

Our client is one of Bermuda's premiere insurance providers. On their behalf, we are currently seeking a Systems Support / Programmer Analyst with a strong customer focus to join their IT team in Bermuda. The successful candidate will focus on Data Warehouse and Executive Information System projects, as well as other related strategic initiatives.

Core responsibilities include:
Analyze, design, develop, implement and maintain in-house LANSA applications
Manage and/or participate in business applications development and design projects
Respond to internal client requests, queries and complaints and make appropriate recommendations

Qualifications and experience required:
At least 5 years of progressive experience in information technology with a focus on systems analysis and database management
At least 3 years of experience programming in 4GL language
Training and experience in the application of project management methodologies
In-depth knowledge of database manipulation tools, specifically SQL
Experience working with standard project management methodologies
LANSA programming experience

This unique opportunity will involve relocating to Bermuda for a 2-3 year minimum commitment. As such, candidates should be highly portable and have outside interests that lend themselves to Bermuda's idyllic living environment.

Compensation is competitive, paid in USD equivalent with only 4.75% tax.
