Our client is the UK’s leading manufacturer of a range of commodity and
speciality industrial products. From their manufacturing facility in the heart
of the Cheshire countryside, acknowledged as one of the most efficient in
Europe, the company has built a formidable reputation for product quality
and customer service. The Company has a strong business base that focuses
on the UK with a significant presence in Europe and a strategy to develop
business in more distant geographic markets.
Working closely with the manufacturing team and other functions, this new
role will have responsibility for raising standards and driving performance
across the site through the implementation of a robust technical/quality
improvement strategy. Leading a small group of professional staff, the main
emphasis of the role will be on developing the company’s leading position
within core markets through ongoing technical innovation whilst continuously improving internal processes and procedures.
Candidates, ideally degree qualified, will have had experience in either
pharmaceuticals or speciality chemicals with an emphasis on quality
assurance and manufacturing/continuous improvement. Above all,
candidates must be ‘hands-on’ and driven to achieve results with the ability
to interact credibly across the company and with customers to influence
and deliver change.
The successful candidate will be required to represent the interests of the
company at International/Technical meetings. This is a genuine career
