Project Manager

Our Client is currently looking to hire a Project Manager for their offices in Barcelona.

Responsibilities:

Partner management
• Facilitate and maintain the relationship between partners, vendors and the company
• Develop a solid relationship with partners in order to grow business
• Detect and formalize new business possibilities within partners
• Act as second escalation level for issues reported by the partner (first level is CS)
• Assist Sales to gather partner requirements in order to prepare the proposal
• Prepare invoices and send them to the Account department

Project Planning and tracking
• Take requirements from the partner and review them with Architecture Manager
• Prepare the proposal, evaluating complexity and estimating effort
• Request Product Development Manager resource assignation and priority definition in the Global Plan
• Track project status
• Detect and manage any deviation in scope and/or effort in the project
• Manage Change Requests
• Get the partner Sign off’s for projects

Coordination and reporting
• Report to Steering Committee data related to project status, issues detected and exceptions
• Ensure that proper communication about project status, exceptions (issues, changes,…) reaches partner responsible and the company Management
• Coordinate with Product Development Manager, Architecture Manager and Team Leaders/Analysts regarding project definition, tracking and closure.
• Plan and transfer to Customer Support, at development conclusion, project responsibility from Development

Project Team management
• Manage resources once they have been assigned to the project
• Coordinate with Product Development Manager regarding resources assigned to the project
• Assist project team members in tracking project progress and priorities
• Ensure project team members deliver time sheet information with the highest accuracy.
• Plan, organise and manage the project team to ensure adequate responsiveness under any reasonable requirements
• Make sure proper team communication and promote an open environment for sharing ideas and suggestions about the project
