Electrical Engineer

Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer (Press Department)

The Company is looking to strengthen its Engineering function and is recruiting a multi skilled Electrical Engineer, responsible for planned preventative maintenance and breakdown and repair in the Press department.

Essential Skills , Qualifications & Competencies

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification or experience; (Minimum, time served electrical apprenticeship with appropriate experience and expertise);
Heavy pres engineering – predominantly electrical repairs basis;
High press hydraulic (>200 bar);
Pneumatic and conveyor automation;
TPM – oil analysis, vibration analysis and thermographic inspection;
Specific knowledge of Rockwell Automation kit – up to Allen Bradley PLC 5 (with some SLC500 / Micrologix);
Good understanding of HV systems and procedures.
Experience and competency in managing electrical infrastructure safely and competently;
Experience of programming and fault finding on PLC’s (site currently has 140
Motivational skills;
IT skills;
