Experience assessing welfare and benefit needs is essential. Previous experience with service users with HIV/Aids infection and knowledge of specific entitlements is essential.


A local service is looking for a welfare rights officer to assess the needs of, and give advice to, service users with a view to helping them to access their entitlements to benefits from the Department of Work and Pensions. The role will involve the successful candidate to have a knowledge of entitlements for service users with HIV/Aids infection, physical disabilities or sensory impairment.
