Software Engineer - Semi's Bristol

Software engineer for development, validation and characterization of semiconductor IC's for the wireless sector sought. Skills include software programming in C and assembler and use of development tools such as debuggers, IDE's etc.

Excellent opportunity to join one of the semiconductor industry's most successful start-ups. They are expanding their silicon team and have vacancies for software engineers to develop software to perform bring-up, validation and characterisation, of their leading-edge processor systems.

Candidates will have the following experience:

C and assembler software programming skills.

Lab-based test and characterisation of processor based systems, including processor cores, DSPs, memory and external interfaces.

Ability to understand product requirements and drive a characterization plan from these through to completion.

Use of advanced software development tools including debuggers.
